July 21, 2022: Fendi has opened its first boutique in Madrid, Spain. It offers the Italian luxury brand’s full women’s collection from ready-to-wear to bags, shoes and accessories. White hand-made ceramic tiles with a reinterpretation of the FF logo designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the fall/winter 2013 collection wrap the façade of the store. Moving to the interiors, a central special element creates a circular and surprising organization of the space. Every wall of the cube is featured by perspective cuts created with the alternation of white Arabescato marble and ivory pozzolanica. All around the perimeter of the store, metal niches with hand-made ceramic background showcase bags, accessories and shoes, while the ready-to-wear is presented on champagne metal tubular structures.

There are eight stores in the U.S. The new two-level store carries women’s ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, accessories, jewelry and sunglasses, as well as menswear, which was introduced four years ago. Some 20% of the new store will be dedicated to menswear. Designed by Marant and an in-house architecture studio, the store’s main floor showcases Isabel Marant mainline, accessories — bags, jewelry, sunglasses and some shoes — while one flight up is the shoe section, Isabel Marant Etoile, a women’s secondary line, and Isabel Marant Homme.
